Strengthening Families By Serving Children and Parents since 1987
About Our Team
At Child Abuse Prevention Center, our team is united by a shared commitment to breaking the destructive cycle of child abuse that impacts countless children and families. Each member of our team brings not only professional expertise but also a deep sense of compassion and dedication to this crucial work. We understand the profound effects that child abuse can have, and we approach our mission with empathy, integrity, and an unwavering resolve to create a safer, healthier future for the children and families we serve. Our team is here to make a difference—one child, one family at a time.
Who We Serve
The Child Abuse Prevention Center was born out of the dedication and commitment of Alabama members of The National Exchange Club, a service organization with a primary focus on child abuse prevention. We proudly serve children and parents across the state of Alabama, offering vital support and educational services in thirteen counties. Our programs are designed to assist families at every stage of parenting, from prenatal care through the high school years.
Whether you’ve been referred to us or have reached out on your own, we are here to help. Our team supports parents on their journey, guiding them from merely surviving to truly thriving as they navigate the challenges of parenting. We believe that with the right support, every family has the potential to build a safe, nurturing environment where children can flourish.
